2k12 latest update

Hey all-

Just got NBA 2k12 and 2k Share isn't working. Am I just out of luck in getting at least the most updated 2k12 rosters?

Are you Xbox360 or PS3?

Insofar as Xbox, there are a host of roster files--current and classic--that are available to download on the computer and transfer to console, simply browse this forum.

I am not familiar with PS3 so I cannot comment on those.

From what I am hearing, you can't transfer other users' roster files to your PS3 offline with 2k12 unless you have a jailbroken PS3. I didn't realize this was an issue. I did see a 2k11 update for the 2012-13 season if you have that -- I just downloaded that and it works fine.

2k12 for the Xbox will still work if you use some of the tools like Horizon on the offline roster file. For those reasons, I am starting to think I will become more of an xbox guy for sports games going forward.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've actually had fun just creating the rosters myself. Probably have spent 10-12 hours on it already (I want to start with the full 2011-12 season as opposed to updating the rosters to today). Its not TOO much work as I don't have to add the new 2012-13 rookies, but I've probably created like 25 players and I have 5 teams to go. Do I wish I could've downloaded a roster for the PS3? Yes, but really I haven't minded editing the rosters myself.

Will be fun to see how I did in creating everyone.

I just finalized my historic roster set for 2k12 for the PS3 (completed all of the missing players who should have been on the historic teams) and although it took a lot of time, I enjoyed the process. Fortunately, I downloaded a bunch of created players from 2kshare before the servers went down. I made some additional edits to those and then created about 8 players myself and then updated all of the rotations.

Sometimes the roster creation / editing is more engaging than playing the game!

I'm trying to access a 2k12 roster for '12-'13, as well. I have a PS3 and I understand there is the issue of downloading rosters unless your console is a jailbreak unit. I would still like to get ahold of a roster file and see what I can do. Any help you guys can provide would be huge!

Hey -- why don't I e-mail you my edited final roster from 2k12. You can play around with that file and see if you can get it to work. If you can, then you can spend time tracking down a 12-13 roster file. Make sense? If so Private Message me your e-mail address and I'll send it over.
