Tiebreakers?

How do the tie breakers work for madden 13 online ccm:

I know in the NFL it goes...

1) H2H record
2) Division record
3) Common games
4) Conference record

but i think in madden it's different. I've heard it's...

1) H2H record
2) Division record
3) Conference record
4) Points for

If anyone knows for sure, it would be much appreciated. My season could depend on this

I'm pretty sure that Madden doesn't work like that. I've seen way too many times 2 teams finish with the same record and the team that LOST their head to head match up get in over the other. We tried like crazy to figure it out, but for the most part it looks like it goes by alphabetical order. Yep, you heard that right........... ALPHABETICAL ORDER.

in 13 it's alphabetical? i know there was that rumor in 12 but it isn't true, we've tested it.

yeah ea screwed something up big time i just had an awesome finish to my online franchise and got jipped a playoff berth.

I can concur that it is alphabetical order. Play with the bears from now on.

i have a contrary experience. i was Giants at 12-3 going into wk 17. Seahawks were 11-4. we didnt play H2H. I had better conf record at 9-2, hawks were 7-4. we ended up with identical div records at 4-2. i didnt play starters and lost in week 17. 'Hawks beat cardinals, and I ended up losing home field. Is it just random?
