How much does "dimer" actually help?

Has anyone noticed a big difference when using a pg with "dimer" compared to not using a pg with "dimer"? I'm trying to figure out if its worth having a pg with the ability to score a little better, or a pg that can't score himself quite as well but has the "dimer" ability?

A lot it seems. I've got Rondo paired up with Kevin Martin in an OA. Martin isn't missing if I get him an open look off a Rondo pass. Also seems to help a lot with Carl Landry's midrage shot compared to a previous OA where I had Landry w/ no Dimer.

It turns battier into the best shooter in the game...

Denver nuggets are so awesome this year, because Andre miller has floor general and diner. Their second unit can score just as good as their first. Floor general gives Jordan Hamilton a 4 point boost to Jordan Hamilton's 79 3 point rating turning it into an 83...add a diner assist that adds 10 percent, and that 79 just went up to a 90.

On another note, how worthless is 'Break Starter'

There isn't a player in the game who cant throw a full court, pin point outlet pass without penalty 95% of the time. The only thing that prevents it from hitting the hand is lead passing a player too close to the corners

It's incredibly useful. Because not only does it increase the receivers shooting percentage, but it removes pass error. Which means passing out of shots are never bobbled out of bounds or anything.

Cuts down on a lot of turnovers

It was unstoppable with the Clippers (Butler and Crawford) until they patched the 3pt shot.

i dunno about association and them gametypes, (not interested in playing them) but in my career its fantastic.
it has turned my PG into a passing monster from a PG who was a turnover monster!!!!
almost every pass into the paint hits the man and results in an assist or pass to assist.
best ability ever for a PG imo, in MyCareer of course

what game are you playing?
in MyCareer I get passes into the backboard and out of bounds, iI get passes WAY over my head, easily intercepted passes etc etc.

it is NO where near what it was like in 2k12.

Yea it's probably the best skill I have tried. I went from barely getting 10 assists a game with 3-5 turnovers to 20+ assist a game no turnovers. I almost broke the nba record one a few times.
