Can you spectate games in franchise mode?

I rented the game upon release and realized I couldn't coach or even spectate franchise mode games. I sent the game back after that. Despite the great on field changes, the felt as it was released with 70% of past features taken out.

Now I see that this third update is coming out and would like to know if spectating in franchise is available now.

No sir, to my knowledge there is no spectate mode, especially in CCM. You're either a coach or a player. The closest thing you can get to spectate mode is to turn on "Coach Mode" and let the CPU play your team, HOWEVER.. you will still have to control kicks and call plays. As far as watching two CPU teams play, not this year my friend. Hope that helps.

Nope, No spectate mode this year! Bummer because it was in last year's game, and I loved to use it. If you want spectate in your franchise, and are on 360, grab Dylans Roster and Xanathol's Franchise reader to update Madden 12 to 13s roster and schedule.

1. Get all 32 teams to 53 players or less.
2. Create 32 owners, obviously turn off fill roster,etc.
3. Simulate to regular season.
4. Now retire each owner.
5. Create/Choose Active Players, choose the 3rd string QB for all 32 teams.(up to you if you leave injuries on,which may effect your spectating later on).
6. Use two controllers. I recommend buying the chargeable stand and battery and just leave them on connected to it,since controllers have to be left on.
7. Now when you start a game or retire owner/create player, they may sign free agents. The work around is to edit all free agents or some while your a owner and lower all their ratings,so when you create the player, the owner should not sign anyone to mess up your rosters.

I spectate every game when making sliders Its SLOW in SIM mode

Pretty easy with one controller. A little pain in the beginning Make your self the owner of every team - BAM - thats all you have to do - then when you play or WATCH Do it in SLOW speed SIM - easy

I'm at 96 "watched" games in Madden 25 week 5

I have sliders on the slider page that is near perfect on pass% and yards per game, scoring is almost right on running is a little down and about 10 yards per game below average for a team. Need a tad more penalties.
