Re: Final Scores Too High?

Same thing here. It is why I am now trying 10 min quarters.

Re: Final Scores Too High?

Mine too except I play with 10 minute quarters. They need to patch this because some of the teams seem unstoppable.

Re: Final Scores Too High?

there are several things you can do.

1. lower the player speed from the menu right before you start a game. and lower the qucikness in the sliders to 0.

2. also learn to control the tempo of the game, and force the cpu controlled team into a half court game. limit your turnovers, and control the boards. most points are from transition buckets

my scores flesh out to the high 80s to mid 90s. shot totals have also dropped.

Re: Final Scores Too High?

I have decided to go back to Pro from AllStar. I was playing vs the Bucks yesterday (first two games on AllStar). First game Ellis scored 50+, second game he scored 40+ (60% FG or more every time). Sliders seem to not have a big effect when it comes to some signature skills, I guess. I could have probably lower all the CPU's scoring/offense sliders to 0, and he would still score at ease.

Bucks' scoring by quarter (1st game, I think): 1st - 18, 2nd - 30, 3rd - 34...no need to go on. Second game was pretty similar...third game I went back to Pro and tweaked the sliders as much as possible without making the CPU ******** (not lowering the offense scoring sliders a lot, just a few clicks) - I held them to 86 points in the game.

So, going back to Pro and tweaking the sliders a bit worked. Ellis was still making a lot, but at least was less aggressive and my D was able to make a stop every now and then - and lowered his FG%.

To sum this up, sliders do matter, but also the settings. But I find sliders to matter less when it comes to stars with some signature skills.

Re: Final Scores Too High?

I would recommend using an OS slider set. Check out the sliders by MK, Yastru, Tomba, or the "Realistic Stats Guaranteed" slider set.

These guys put in hours of work for a reason. Find which set works for you and enjoy

Re: Final Scores Too High?

Lol you're playing on All-Star....

Now that the joke is out the way. There's good sliders in the slider section for all-star difficultly.

But I play on HOF sim online and superstar sim in the leagues I'm in and don't see this high scoring problem.
