VC Buyers vs. Normal Players

Like most sane people, I'm frustrated at the perversion of in-game progression to hugely incentivize purchasing VC. One of the most pressing issues is competition between players that paid versus players that are trying to progress through play alone.

Wouldn't the issue of playing MyTeam or MyCareer blacktop against an obviously purchase-boosted player/team be alleviated if matchmaking were separated into "player's with their mom's CC" and "people who progressed only using play?"

I ultimately don't care if someone else wants to ruin MyCareer/MyTeam for themselves by throwing down another $60, though it encourages frustrating design for future releases. I'd just like to be able to avoid playing against them in this year's release.

People with their mom's CC? Are you serious with that, bro? I'm a grown man with kids and a FT job and my own CC. Because of the job and kids, I don't have 100's of hours to spend playing to upgrade MyCareer. So I bought some points. Don't profile people and say garbage like that, man.

I tend to agree with you Jonboy. I'm sure most of the people that are buying the vc points are actually of the older crowd that do have a job and don't mind spending $5. With that said, I do think it screws of the progression of the mode. I'm not a fan of people being able to buy vc.

Wow OP, good job generalizing.

Just be a good player. I have no problem beating VC bought teams, as the players aren't any more skilled than your average quick match player. Every team has a weakness. Exploit that.

Re: VC Buyers vs. Normal Players

I'm on both sides of this. I bought some VC with the points I get from Xbox Live Rewards, which was just 240 points. I got two silver players from 4 packs - Mark Price, and Greg Ostertag (who sells for 500 VC and moves like a glacier).

But when you end up against those super teams early on it's really frustrating. There should be a way to level the playing field since salary isn't doing it.

Well the op said people that bought VC used their mom's CC. The "older" crowd I'm referring to are exactly the opposite of who the OP is saying, so the people who don't live at home and have their parents buy them things.
