Nba 2k13 Catering to Superstars and Elite Teams

Do you guys think 2k13 caters to elite teams and superstars? To me it seams the game just caters to the elite teams and star players. For example look at John Wall -vs- Rajon Rondo

Rondo - Overall 90, shot inside 84, close 72, medium 70, 3pt 61 - Sig. Skills - Pick Pocket, Dimer, Scraper, Ankle Breaker, Floor Generals

Wall - Overall 83, shot inside 88, close 80, medium 77, 3pt 60 - Sig. Skills - Acrobat, Finisher, Shot Creator

I compare these two cause there games are similar, there both penetrators who can finish well at the rim, no pure jump shots and run there teams. (Granted Rondo has a better supporting cast.)

As you can see Wall has the better shooting stats. But if you take a look at their hot zones. Wall has more cold zones than Rondo. (which makes his Shot Creator Sig. pointless when he can't make a jump shot on the game)

Now, to me the game is catered to Rondo more than Wall. Yes, in real life Rondo is a better all-around player than Wall. But as far as shooting is concerned Wall should have more neutral zones than cold. I understand this is were the players shoot the majority of there shots in a game setting, but to me the zones and ratings don't match up in my honest opinion. Wall's Signature Skills is dictated more to his shooting abilities, while Rondo's is more in the "Run the team" aspect. But Rondo will make more shots because he has lesser cold zones even though his shooting ratings is worst than Wall's. We can argue all day about who has the better jump shot in real life, but as far as the game is concerned it is Rondo over Wall even if the ratings doesn't prove it.

if you watched John Wall play last year you would understand those cold zones. It was horrible. Also, I believe they get the zones from data keep on nba.com. It used to located at nba.com/hotzones.

The dude shot 28% outside of 3 feet. There is a reason for it.

I live in D.C. and watched all the Wiz games plus his Summer League games at the Goodman League. His 3pt shot needs improvement, but his mid-game was way better than last year. The stats to show.

Those stats don't show a breakdown by location/distance. All we know from this is that overall Wall shot 42% from the field. Last year Rondo was 44% from the field.
so those stats don't show what you are claiming they do.

Wall takes more shots, plus his shot are contested, while Rondo shoots open shots due to his supporting cast. I just feel the mid-range should be neutral rather than cold. Cold for 3pts.
