OA Fatigue

So today me n my friends played on our Online Association, and I don't know what the problem is but our players seem to get very tired and by 4 minutes into the game (12 minute quarters), my whole team has the gatorade symbol. I am not holding down turbo either. It only started happening today and I haven't changed the sliders for stamina and fatigue it is just on its default simulation setting. It was fine yesterday. Is anybody else having this problem? Is it a glitch or something?

Those were also my initial thoughts too, but after really thinking about it and getting some time in and using intense-D plus the isomotion on offense you can really see how the players lose their energy at a more realistic rate. Here are some tips on how to keep your players from being dogged out in 4 minutes (shoot Gortat is the biggest b**tch sometimes, he'll be tired w/ 9:00 to go in the 1st.)

- Gotta lay off that intense-D all the time, it drains energy quite a bit, use it when needed.

- Bigs are banging down low and now with the bruiser sig skill even more energy is being drained, guards penetrating & taking contact gonna drain energy, play smart, play wise.

- Use timeouts accordingly, at least 1 per quarter to keep it realistic (they call timeouts in real life y'all *not talking about you, just saying*). *Check Youtube for game footage to see when teams take timeouts, ie. momentum swings, big shots, dunks, etc.*

And yes Dickie V, subs are back. With those tips/observations combined with other methods of saving energy you'll still see your starters getting around 34-38 minutes and even more (depending on who you play with).

With that said, get to know your bench, know their roles and their positions as you will be using them this year. I know this is OS but still we all need reminders of the fundamentals from time to time.

Re: OA Fatigue

Yup I do that to keep them from not getting too tired but why is this happening in OA? I have the exact same sliders on exhibition and this doesn't happen.

Re: OA Fatigue

I'm starting to think fatigue is broken in OA. Not sure if it's a Progressive Fatigue thing or what it is.

Messed around with the "Fatigue Rate" slider. It's set at 57 when you set it to Simulation play style.

Tried playing a game, had a day's rest after my previous game. 6 minutes, All-Star sim. All my starters were hovering around 60 stamina after two minutes. So quit out, reset the stats, adjusted Fatigue Rate, started the same game over.

Dropped Fatigue rate to 53. Same thing. ~ 60
Dropped it to 50. Same thing.
Dropped it to 35. Same thing.
Dropped it to 0. Same. Exact. Thing.

And it's not like I was running around with turbo. The computer team was also showing the Gatorade cup logos. I don't know what to do.

edit: Did some testing offline. Doesn't appear to be an issue in offline associations, only Online. Which is very unfortunate considering I mainly only play OA now

double edit: Went back into OA, raised the "Stamina" slider to 100, dropped "Fatigue Rate" to 0. No change.

Had the same problem in our association and we were able to play with stamina and fatigue rate to fix the problem. Set our fatigue rate to 42 and I believe stamina to 60. One thing to make sure when changing the sliders is that the game play type or whatever is switched from default to custom. Offline if you make a change it changes itself to default but in OA it stays at default. Change that to custom and see if it makes a difference.
