CPU can Audible but we can't!

I mean on offense, QB behind Center and moving to shotgun formation. After playing a few games, I got this sneaky suspicion the CPU was changing plays and using an audible. I was in Coach Now and decided to experiment. I called a Field Goal Block against the CPU on 1st or 2nd down and watched in amazement as the CPU QB went from behind Center to the Shotgun formation and passed. I did that more than once and it happened every time.

Sooo, the CPU can audible run to pass and probably pass to run and we can't do either. That being the case, we are not playing on a level field here.

I looked through pages of threads in this section and haven't seen any topic listed for this scenario.

The reason this is not talked about is because it wasn't an option. You don't need to audible if you call the right plays. You CAN hot route and flip the play but you can not audible at all.

I disagree. You should be able to audible run to pass and vice versa because the CPU can do it. The reason it's probably not talked about is because it is a flaw by design, and there is nothing you can do about it. However, it is still a serious flaw in the game, in my opinion.

There is no such thing as always calling the right play. You don't know how the opposing defense is lining up, but the CPU looks and can make adjustments, such as pass to run and run to pass.

BTW, you cannot Hot Route after calling a run play.

Thats true but you can flip the play and the Defense doesn't shift. Also I wasn't saying that I am glad its not in the game. I was saying that since it isn't in the game we don't really discuss it.

Well, I expected someone to bring it up. I went through at least 8-9 pages and didn't see it as a topic. There might be someone just getting into this game, such as me, and this could be good information.

I did have my quarterback call an audible once. If I recall correctly it was like on 3rd and forever and I called a QB sneak because I was way ahead and was only using plays that were unlearned in the playbook and I wanted to keep the clock moving. I guess my qb didn't want to get tackled becuase he audibled to a shotgun formation and called a passplay.

So apparently it is in there but not just implemented very well.

I've called QB sneak many, many times and he's never used an audible. My QB Brady doesn't seem to mind getting hit. Maybe you have a smarter QB than I do....
