Will the dynamic content updates be in NBA 2K13?

Has anybody heard anything about this?

It was the big feature from NBA 2K12 that they just never got around to using save for a few court changes & coaching changes (although the coaches were already on the disc).

That's right. Nobody really ever held them accountable for it either. They never once mentioned the promise that was made, and about halfway through the season, someone from the art department came on OS to say "Please send your requests for player art updates..."

Never heard from again.

Possibly just for arena and jersey updates. I doubt they'll do it for anything else. But if they do it for more, then that would be greater.

It was probably just to help develop next game.

Re: Will the dynamic content updates be in NBA 2K13?

Your answer lies in how much 2k has talked about the ability to do that this year (very little if any). Unfortunately, modern day sports game companies rarely if ever support their releases post launch for more than a few months, because they know that things they add in post launch to their games are things that they could have claimed as "new" additions for the following year's title. So I'd say the chances 2k actually follows through with dynamic/weekly/monthly art updates for 2k13 (or any title in the future for that matter) are slim to none.

I'm afraid there is a good bit of truth in this.

Sad but true. I hope and want to be wrong on this! If anything, I really want to see 2K support their player base and give us some post updates. At the very least, court and uni updates.
