Is the Self Alley-Oop an Issue?

I understand the logistics of the NBA 2K13 demo. We're likely dealing with a pro/casual setting. With that said, I'm wondering if others have been overly successful in the self-lob department. It seems as if nearly any time a user-controlled LeBron James or Kevin Durant finds some breathing room at the free throw line, a self-lob has a very high rate of success.

I'd imagine heightened difficulty would reduce the amount of times I could find myself semi-open at the free throw line. But as you can see in the video below, even when a defender appeared to be in position (Thabo Sefolosha in the 2nd and 3rd dunks), he slid backward to accommodate the slam. Should this maneuver be limited to fast break scenarios?

I'm hoping they fix that.... I see it happening on a wide open fast break.... or even in the all star game like T-Mac.... But for it to continue to happen in the game with defenders near you.... Shouldn't be happening..... shouldn't even be attempted honestly.....

How often do you ever see this in real life? A handful of times throughout the history of the NBA? It shouldn't even be in the game.

I believe it should be in the game, but the ability to pull it off should be severely limited. I feel only certain players should have the ability to attempt it, even if we go as far to only allow players who have actually done it in real life to be able to in-game, which would mean young T-Mac, VC, and JaVale McGee. And I feel it should almost exclusively be available on a fast break. Even then, if any opponent is in the area code of the play, there should be a high failure rate.

I understand the rarity makes folks believe it has no place being in a video game, but I personally like when rare moments are accounted for in video games. Sometimes, it just seems tough to take something so rare in real life and have it be just as rare in a video game.

Shouldn't even be in the game, yea it would be cool to see once in a blue moon, but it's one of those things better left off the game. Nobody does this successfully, I just hope it's extremely easy to bat the ball away or disrupt,

Some players like Lebron are super athletic and gifted, but 2k gives some of these guys dunking abilities that are better left on a game like NBA Street.

What if it was only included in a dunk package specific to JaVale McGee and could only be executed when on a one-on-zero fast break?
