Resigning 1 Year Contract Players...Online CCM

Is there an issue with resigning players on a 1 year contract? I'm still in Season 1, in my Online CCM, playing as the Niners... Randy Moss still isn't available to resign, nor was the Free Agent I picked up and signed to a one year deal.

Someone said there might be an issue with resigning players on one year contracts, has anyone heard this to be the case?

Not sure if there has been a reported issue or not, but I do know that anyone you sign during the season as a free agent can only be signed to a 1 year deal, and you are not given an option to extend them until the offseason for some reason.

From my experience players who are currently on the team with 1 year deals and the players that you sign from the free agent pool during the pre-seaon or regular season arent available to negotiate until after that current season.
