Does simulating practice in ccm give your players more xp?

I never play or simulate practice. If I simulate practice will that give my players more xp than if I do nothing?

you get nothing for simulating practice if i remember correctly

You actually have to play practice. It's worth it though, I didn't in my first CCM, and started a new one with the 1st week rosters and what a difference. I am leveling up a lot of players and turned 2 drafted rookies into potential superstars.
