Where Have All The FG's Gone....

Has anyone else noticed that teams no longer go for FG's longer than 30 yds anymore. It's really pretty ridiculous that a team that has the ball 4th and long on the opponents 25 and they go for it when the game is close. What the hell happened???

Hell....I was playing Alabama in my dynasty and they kicked a 62 yard field goal on me. Kind of pissed me off. It cleared with no problem.

I don't know if this is a difficulty level or something (I play on Heisman) or if your sample size isn't big enough but I have teams kicking (or at least attempting) long FGs on me all the time.

Play on Heisman. Any time they get to your 45, they will try FG's. Its beyond frustrating when the AI tries FG's when they should be punting. Kills the field position when they miss, might as well be a fumble.

I think a better question is... where have all the MISSED FG's gone???

How many times do we see a shanked FG... or a pushed FG to the right or left?

Whenever the computer kicks a FG, its basically guaranteed.

What I do for stoopidly long FG attempts is I call a FG return normal and have my return man run out of bounds at the 20 yard line to simulate a touchback on a punt.

I don't have my CPU FGA slider on default (I think I have it on 35 which is the lowest you can go before FG kickers start coming up 10 yards short on XPs and sadly no, that's not an exaggeration) and they miss FGs left/right at a realistic rate.
