Pro could be the way to go

Been playing some online CCM games on pro on slow speed at 75 threshold. Have got very good results. Just lost to the Lions 42-35. What I notice about pro is much better play calling by the computer. In order to up the difficulty, I put all user sliders at 25 except PDRT which I have at 50 and all ai sliders at 75 except tackling & fumbles which are at 25. Give these a try. Don't be turned off by the pro difficulty. The games I played with these settings the CPU ran the ball well enough and qb played more like their real life counterpart. Still not as good as play now, but I must say gameplay felt & looked cleaner and smoother with how I have everything setup. Gonna play the Vikings now. Curious to see how much and effective AP runs. Will report back. But right now I can say with confidence that pro may be the way to go.

Here are the settings I'm currently using in an offline ccm

Slow speed-75 threshold

QBA 25/75
PB 25/50
WRC 45/55
BT 60/70
RBL 25/75
Fumbles 25/75
PDRT 25/75
Int 75/75
Pass Rush 50/75
RDRT 25/75
Block Shedding 25/75
Tackling 30/40

More challenging pro set

Very Slow - Threshold 70

QBA 5/90
PB 75/75
WRC 40/60
BRT 75/75
RB 25/75
Fumbles 50/50
PDRT 10/95
Int 75/25
PR 100/100
RDRT 50/75
Block Shedding 25/75
Tackling 75/75

Penalties are all at 53

Credit to all the theorists on here. My sliders are a reflection of you all. Big thanks.

Re: Pro could be the way to go

I actually started experimenting with PRO last night on a hunch but I put all user sliders at zero and all CPU sliders at 100 just to see what it played like at the extremes. I got mollywopped.

AP running all over me. He's got about 160 with 1 quarter to play. The CPU can definitely run the ball in CCM with the right settings. It just doesn't look as pretty as play now......And the Vikings mainly are running, unlike the lions who mostly threw my last game. A good sign pro could be the way to go

I think I will be sticking with these. I only used Gameflow with an occasional audible where needed & this was a Play Now game.

that boxscore gave me a little hope on getting good games in CCM, Until you said it was played in play now.

Re: Pro could be the way to go

In my 24-21 win over the vikings, AP (cpu) had 23 carries for 147. Ponder (cpu) threw 17 times. For this game, i changed speed to very slow. Kept threshold at 75. Gore (me) had 29 carries for about 130. Smith (me) threw it 31 times. Not sure i will keep speed at very slow. If i do, going to decrease quarter length from 15 to 13. Also, tackling would have to be increased to about 40. Going to play next game on slow, but lower tackling to 15 from 25. Games are definitely competitive on this level with most cpu sliders at 75 and user sliders at 25. What i like most about pro is that the ai calls a good game. The qb doesn't hold on to the ball as long. But i think keeping the speed at slow or normal works best. Remember, i am using this difficulty in an online CCM. The computer can run the ball effectively, but the problem no matter the difficulty and slider adjustments it doesn't look very good doing it. I think this is just the product of how CCM's gameplay was programmed. Even still, i am addicted and enjoy playing the mode. The good outweighs the bad. The problem is the bad is pretty bad. Hopefully, EA can patch things and clean up CCM gameplay a bit. It just can be very sloppy as opposed to play now. But these pro settings will provide a fun and realistic gameplay experience for CCM. I still recommend slow speed, but if you going to use very slow, up tackling some and decrease quarter length. If you stick with slow, lower tackling to 15 and cpu fumbles to 50. Hope more will try these out.

Re: Pro could be the way to go

I wanna be tripped out?...lol
After seeing your thread about pro,it got me to thinking....I said "self, what would happen if I took it to the extreme",so I lowered it to rookie...YES rookie...lol using my own sliders.

I tested this in my online cc,against the Ravens of all teams...I wanted to see how rookie played since you were trying pro...I was mainly looking at their running game.

The outcome?....those damn Ravens ran the ball down my throat all way for a touchdown...Flacco only needed to throw 1 time,as Rice and Addai tore my Steeler defense to shreds with the running game,I couldn't believe it.

I'm no "master" at this game, but I ain't no slouch either,I was simply dumbfounded at the results. I even threw my best run blitzes at them,to no avail. I wish I would've remembered the #'s (or maybe I don't...lol) but Flacco only needing 1 pass, and the rest was running, should tell you all you need to know.

I only had a chance to play a little bit of the game,so I'll have to finish it later, but if the whole game turns out like the short bit I played,Rice will have over 200 yds on me...lol
