hello everyone, new member here..bought MLB 12 the show on release day...just curious as to how many of you on here plan to play the show throughout the winter leading all the way up to 13's release..i'm gonna start a franchise tonight.. so even no the season is winding down i'll still be going strong with the show..i think it's the one sports game i can play in the off season, it's that good..

I will be as well. I'm in just finishing up inter league play (June 20) in my original franchise. I play every game so I'll probably finish my season around Thanksgiving, then will continue on to season 2 through out the winter.

...and if you need a little extra interest for winter baseball...check out the ROSTER FORUM....there quite a few historical roster sets to keep your baseball juices going.

I got this game 29 days ago and it's the only game I've played since (with a the exception of one half of Madden 12), got in close to 50 games. I'll play 4, 5, 6 innings at a time when I get the chance (how great is it to have in-game saves?). I played the other game in the past and always played six-inning games, trying to force myself to enjoy it all the while thinking about how much of a train wreck it was.

Finally, I have an enjoyable baseball game, one that I like playing for nine innings, taking my time, playing at my pace.

To answer your question, yes, I'll be playing this throughout the winter. The real question is, will I be playing anything else?

The plan is play season 2 along with Madden throughout the winter. And if Madden doesn't get the proper patches for offline franchise, then season 2 may become season 2 and 3 of The Show this winter.

Yeah definitely will be playing the Show over the winter. I'm debating getting NBA 2K13 and/or NCAA 13, but the Show will still get the majority of my gaming time I'm sure. The gameplay in the Show this year is the best it has been so far in my opinion, and I've really enjoyed it. I catch myself thinking about next game's pitching matchups during the day when I'm doing other things haha.

Since it seems i skip years I'm definitely going to be playing my RTTS and franchise with the Mets for a good long while
