How do you hot route a flag/corner route?

How do you hot route a flag/corner route?

The only options I see are "slant" and "zig"

Neither of those routes are options to hot route to sir. The only options to hot route to are the ones you see on your screen...slant, zig, fade, drag, curl, out, and fly...you can smart route the out and the curl to the first down line...but thats about it.

For running backs, you get the option to hot route to a wheel route, swing route, and block and release route...replacing the fade, slant/zig, and drag respectively.

Here is a video where a developer explains that they took the corner/slant route out of the game. apparently it was too effective. Here is the link:
