Looks like the rookie showcase is still in my player. The rookie showcase turned me off my player 2k12, for the simple fact it doesn't exist.

I think 2k should go back to the Draft Combine, Summer League, and Training Camp format.

Don't exclude the possibility that the combine and summer league aren't in this year's game. We still have to wait and see. Wouldn't it be cool if it went like this? Combine-->Showcase-->Draft-->Summer League-->Preseason-->Season

In my opinion My Player needs everything a college or international prospect does before they start the season:

1. Sign a Agents
2. Hire a Trainer (to prepare for draft)
3. Open runs (with fellow draftees)
4. Portsmouth Invitational (for second round and undrafted senior prospects)
5. NBA Draft Combine (drills and measurements only)
6. Pre-Draft team and individual teams workouts
7. Adidas Euro Camp (it's for euros only, every NBA team goes)
8. Summer League, orlando and vegas
9. Training Camp( battling for a spot)
10. Weekly Practices

All is needed as well as more to add more realism to my player.

2K should bring back the Draft Combine..... The Rookies Showcase was aight.... BUT 1 game to make or break your career....not cool....

Brskins, I completely agree that one game should not dictate the My Players future. I also agree with Lanc that the overall pre draft process is tedious and crucial to real life draftees, and should be to My Players.

Draft Combine and Summer League was better it was more life like. The rookie game is fine but I mean 1 game to determine your carer is one of them WTF 2K moments. I think 2K only focuses on it more than what they did in 2K11 is because the Rookie Showcase gets you to the NBA quicker than going through the Draft Combine and Summer League.
