september call ups not working?

hey guys, tried searching but couldnt find anything. in my franchise, im at september 2nd, but the rosters didnt expand. its still at 25 and if i bring anyone up it wont let me proceed saying "you have 26 players on the active roster" anyone experience this or am i missing something?

Same here. Seems like I remember this from previous years but is there a reason the rosters don't expand until later in September?

Rosters don't expand until after the minor league seasons end. So they should expand on the 4th or 5th. One other thing to remember is that if one of your minor league teams makes the playoffs. Players on those teams won't get called up until after their teams playoff run is over.

I have also noticed that players will automatically be added to the major league roster if they've spent any time in the big leagues that season.

In the past it would just call up anyone who is on your 40 man roster. Regardless of whether they had played a game for you or not. That may have changed this year though. I haven't made it that far yet so I don't know exactly how that aspect of it works.

Actually you might be right. I started with the 25 man rosters, so everyone that I had placed in the MLB at one time or another was moved to the 40 man.
