Watching this just makes me angry at how EA have squandered the ESPN license

How many times this has been posted it's getting tired we already know they can go all out with ESPN if they want but they rather make it generic. This year Madden is very close to CBS presentation.

Hey.... I actually played it yesterday and had a ball. I have last seasons rosters used and there are people updating them for this season. It still is enjoyable.

Oh my god that was beautiful.... The commentary was near flawless, if I was just listening to it I wouldn't have thought it was a video game

Eh, not many have half-time shows anymore, usually studio breaks and stats.

EA told us last year they gutted out Final Point because they didn't like it and they will put something back in when they like it.

If they put in a save feature, then I might watch a show, but the games are going well over an hour as it is.

I didn't know ESPN = CBS.

You're happy with almost? You're content with generic? What you just saw was an 8 year old game that looks like a live TV broadcast. What we have with Madden at this present moment is terrible angles, laughably bad, slowed down instant replays and oh yeah, no halftime show whatsoever.

You go on being content with almost...I'm putting this out there because quite frankly how we don't have a real life broadcast, on a next gen console, with a multi-million dollar development team at the helm is disturbing when 2k made a realistic masterpiece with limited funds and a dated console almost a decade ago.

Agree, this comes up every year.

I might be in the minority, but I hated the voices of Dan and Peter, but to each their own on that one.
