Question about the patch...

When the patch comes out on the 11th, would i have to make a new ccm for the updates to apply? Or would my current one be updated?

Re: Question about the patch...

I'm hoping it doesn't affect my current slider set offline. I have been wondering the same. Is it pointless making these slider sets if a tuning update/patch is going to throw them through the ringer?

If I have to redo all the work I have put into my slider set I'm gonna be beyond upset.

Welcome to the agony of slider professionals. If a patch has any gameplay tuning, you will have adjust your sliders. It's inevitable but hopefully it won't make us start from scratch.

This sucks... I feel like we will as the online and offline version of my set play POLAR opposite right now. Guess I'm doomed and I should just enjoy this until the patch then waste another week or two of my life finding new sliders.

Forgive me for being a douche, but I'm pretty sure changing sliders on a video game doesn't make you a professional of anything.

Re: Question about the patch...

I think by using that conotation he simply meant the guys that have been doing it forever for these forums. I got it at least. I don't think he was tooting his own horn... and even if so, I have a lot of respect for the amount of work those guys put in each year. They are the only reason I can and do enjoy playing this game.

I understand what he was getting at, but he should have used smarter words. I'm a douche lol

Re: Question about the patch...

Are there any slider "pros" or regulars on here that have experience with patch updates and how to prepare your sliders? How much do you typically have to adjust them after? Is it all of the sliders usually, only some, more human, more cpu? Just trying to get an idea.

Also, once all sliders are tuned accordingly, do you all think sliders will be tuned the same for offline as online or will they remain different?
