If anyone figures out how to fix this, post it up.

Really annoying. Refuse to put too much time into connected career when I have a perfect game face waiting. Yes, it's a big deal.

i had to redo mine one time, make sure I followed every step in the 3D rendering process, and then save all my changes.. then it worked. All i can advise is to start over and follow every step carefully.

You don't have to redo the whole thing just go in and resave your game face and it worked for me...
