Madden 2013 Difficulty

I'm new to Madden. What difficulty do most people play on? I'm going to start connected careers with some buddies and want to make it realistic and hard for anyone to dominate the CPU.

If you are new I would go for All-Pro, and see how that feels. Try out Jarrod's sliders - they are the best I've used and his instructions are ample.

His are All-Madden sliders though I think.

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty

In my opinion, Jarrod had the best sliders for Madden 12. I still use his version with personal tweaks of mine.

It's challenging but still realistic. If your new to Madden, I'd play on All-Pro and buy the book from GameStop. I never thought they were worth $20 but I bought the one for Madden 13 when I Pre-Ordered it and it shows you how to efficiently run plays and read the defense. I find it pretty interesting.

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty

I have really been struggling with this to be honest. I have never been one that is really good at All-Madden or Heisman for NCAA. I always hated the way the CPU plays. I have not played Madden in 2 years but find myself really excited again for it. More than NCAA and for me this is a rarity.

I do not want to get caught in slider hell where the first month is nothing but testing sliders. It burns me out but I really have no idea where to start.

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty

If the league is all USER controlled then I say go with All Madden. If not then go with All Pro.

Re: Madden 2013 Difficulty

What if the person is not in any leagues and just a single player franchise? What is a good starting point? All-Pro I would assume?

New to madden? Rookie practically forces you to win or at least it used to. Haven't played in so long. I'd go with Pro until you've mastered it and then move up.
