Amazon pre-order

I'm trying to decide whether to pre-order Madden 13 on amazon with a "guaranteed" release day delivery or just drive 20 miles out of my way after work to go get it with a chance that they for some reason don't have anymore copies. Has anyone had any problems with doing something like this and not receiving it on release day like it says? I really don't want to pay an extra $10 for shipping and come home from work and not have it.

Also, I seen some people who received the game also received the qb wristband with the verbal commands for kinect on it. Does this come with all of the 360 games or was that just something special for them?

I've never had a pre-order from amazon with the release day guarantee ever be late.

Same here. Been doing release day shipping on my games for the last few years.

Can't you put down a $5 dollar pre-order deposit at the actualt store to guarantee they hold it for you after work?

I have the same issue. Its either amazon, or count on the local base store to have it on time, they claim they will get it on release day, but I just dont trust that

of course, you then have to trust amazon will get you your game on tuesday. I can safely say when it comes to my experiences, Ive ordered at the least....12-15 items over the years with a release date delivery from amazon, and every single one has arrived on time. not a single mess up, not a single problem. on my doorstep, no issues. Amazon has always been GREAT to me*
