Huge RB's in retail videos:

I just wanted to make this thread no matter how little of a time it stays up...I want it known so that GC's or someone at EA can take notice, acknowledge and fix accordingly.

In all of the retail videos, the RB's are way too tall and just as big as the O-line and D-line guys. Hopefully this falls under tuning to be fixed, or at the least this falls under day one patching. I think it's justifiably something they should fix, though.

Watch all retail videos and pay especially close attention to when the RB's come to the huddle, as you'll see it's very noticeably wrong.

I don't think they can patch a player model size. So hopefully it will be fixed in Madden 14. If they could, then they would have patched the over sized football in NCAA series.

Okay, well...ahead of time, then...if it is indeed found to be a player model discrepancy, shouldn't we at least via Play Now Mode be able to edit height/weight back down? I hope so. It just bugs me that all the RB's look like Brandon Jacobs, now...and that's probably why I didn't notice if it's wrong in the demo because I kept using the 49ers.

I agree they do look odd. Jamaal Charles and Javid Best look HUGE and they shouldn't. They look like linebackers to me.

There's a cut scene I've viewed in every retail vid where the RB comes into the huddle on the right side, and he's always beside two of the Olinemen...and each time, whoever the RB is, he's inches taller than either of those Olinemen. Even more noticeable is the Raiders video with Darren McFadden looking way huge compared to anyone else on the field.

There has always been size issues in the cut scenes in Madden and NCAA. I once had two created players, a WR who was 6'7" and a QB who was 5'10" and after throwing a TD, the cutscene celebration shows em high fiving and they are the same height. The question is when they are live on the field, are they the same.

The cutscenes are semi predetermined. So it doesn't take into account height/weight and apparently player models. Lol

If it was just that, it would be passable, but in various camera views of retail gameplay (actual gameplay), the RB's are towering over other players. It is visually striking enough that it is noticeably funny looking.

I just watched the Chiefs vid again and Jamaal is a giant in actual gameplay.
