Hi everyone,

Any word on if we will have the ability to sign players a year before thier contract expires..... IE what happened with sydney crosby. I would just find it handy to manage the salary cap for the next season, and could help me bomb a player at the trade deadline if he doesn't want to sign.

Contract extensions seem like something that should obviously be in the game. I'm surprised they haven't been added yet. Hopefully they have been added for this year.

confirmed you can not. this interview they were directly asked and the producers said no.

sorry i dont have a timestamp where it is. but the interview on a whole is pretty good, some good info in there.
