anybody have success with punt returns yet?

I just cant seem to get more than 6 yards on a return, so I usually end up simulating them. any tips or tricks?

I average possibly about 15 yds a return. now kickoffs are different, ive already returned 2 for TD. but on a punt return, there's always one guy way down field by the time the kick happens, so run opposite of him, try to get some blocks and what i do, if you have a speedy returner is to break to the opposite side of the field, and hope that you get some blocks.

Nope. I'm actually having to call fair catches now. Never really had to do that the past couple of years. I may have had a couple 10 yard returns, but most are only about 5 yards if I even attempt to return it.

I've been able to return a couple. I usually call a return left/right to the wide side of the field and then just look for the lanes when I return. On my long returns I usually end up taking it all the way across the field like in this one against NC State:

I've returned a couple to the house.. Mostly with guys like Tyrann Mathieu and such. Just depends on the returner and if you get a couple good blocks. I've gotten negative yards. Fumbled punts. Had to fair catch. But I average around 15 yards. It just varies. Which is how it should be.

Returned one for a TD with Marquise Goodwin. Try to have your fastest guy returning and try to get to the sideline if you get some blocks you have the possibility to go for 6.

I returned two straight with Greig Reid who is now off the team vs. and FCS team. The lanes were perfect.

6 yards is a decent return. I can pop a few 12-15, and have taken a few to the house. You have to get lucky a little, and then you have to read your blocks and catch the cpu in the right punt coverage.
