2k12 roster question

I know that in the original roster of the game it had no rookies, due to the lockout. However I also know that when they added the rookies to the game a few months later in a roster update, they removed players who signed internationally (Aaron Brooks, Chris Douglas-Roberts, etc.).

Is there any way to play a season using both rookies and players who signed overseas? Or am I doomed to choose between the two?
