EA "Uniform Store" question

SIAP - But can someone fill me in or point to a link that tells us when the EA Uniform Store will have DLC available?

I know there is a 2nd patch coming out in August, but this doesnt seem to be something that would be in a patch. You dont "patch" downloadable content.

So--anyone? I assume Teambuilder will be updated with the "free" uniforms as well?

What to you all know?

They said Patch #2 all along.

Im confused at how you have free DLC from a store be part of a patch? Are they just saying that the store will come online about the same time as Patch #2 comes out?

Does anyone really know?

Here are the details of the #2 patch and it does not mention "uniform store". That seems to be a seperate deal???

It's my understanding that the patch will be adding the ability to add uniforms to the game as dlc (as opposed to unlocking uni's already on the disc, i.e. the Pro Combat uni's people got for sharing the demo and/or pre-ordering from Amazon). The uniform store won't be going live until the patch arrives, presumably because there's no point to doing so earlier.

yeah it's been kinda cloudy on their explanations of the uniform store but the FBS schools aren't making it any easier by setting their own timetables on uniforms...

they should be like the pros and have a set deadline for uniform changes AND if they want to keep them quiet like the NFL did with their uniforms they can have them be "unlocked" at a later time and date. (actually the NHL also does this but they still announce the alternates despite only allowing them in game once they have been used in real life) I know madden talked about how they had to maintain a strict NDA with the NFL uniform changes and specific team changes until the NFL and respective teams had made their announcements.

this gets old having Michigan, ND, Okielite and some teams not announce their uniforms until the week before they wear them in the middle of the season. then everyone playing the games gets annoyed that EA didn't include them.
