pitching when behind the count.

hey guys,
can anyone give me some tips for pitching when i go behind in the count,it seems as soon as i give up a hit and the pitching markers reduce i am either giving up alot of walks or pitching right down the middle to give up easy hits, aiming the pitch down low on fastballs seems almost impossible as i invariably end up missing the zone.
i am on full analogue pitching on vet, loving the game and currently trying to rebuild oakland A's, from the uk so go easy on me!!!

I use analog as well. On two our three balls I try to mix up the pitches. Instead of throwing a fast ball I throw a change up to keep the hitters honest. Also if you have a ground ball pitch try to put those down in zone

Re: pitching when behind the count.

Relax. Just slow down when you start getting hits against you. Make a mound visit sometime.

Re: pitching when behind the count.

I think the key is mixing up the pitches. You have to keep the computer guessing because if you just pound in there the same pitch or two over and over, no matter the location, the CPU will eventually catch on and make you pay.

I even throw to first about 3 straight times. Then maybe a mound visit.

Don't be afraid to throw a ball or two. Also, pitchers with sinkers in their repertoire is a big plus. I tend to be pretty sucessful with that pitch and i noticed that pitchers get less tired than just firing fastballs and sliders.
