So, if you can't edit a player(s) in M13 Connected Careers, then I assume when community, or outside source, rosters become available, there will be some other global mechanism available? If that's the case, and if I'm correct that a fully edited roster is available for CC, then wouldn't the workaround for non-editable players be just to rewrite the full roster, at the commissioner's discretion, to make week by week changes?

No editable rosters can be used in CC mode. Just play now.
Only official roster updates from EA can be used.

I wonder if public pressure, post release, will get EA to release an editor. I understand why they have to keep a tight control on rosters, but maybe their "pandora's box" fears will subside.
