Online Play-Picking Opponents

I have to say it seems there's less cheese online this year. Mainly because I think the mobile QB doing a 30yd drop and 360 jump pass across the field is now impossible.

However, there is still some bs online. Like the guys who go for every 4th down. Without having to add a bunch of people on my friends list, is there anyway some of you try to tell if somebody is a straight player or not? DNF% isn't a very good indicator. Is there a way to see their sportsmanship score? I wish we could see their avg. 4th down att per game. Frankly, how does EA even let anything but a special teams play be an option online in the 1st half on your own side of the field.

Pretty random, but I've heard to avoid people with a bunch of X's in their gamer tag. Like its the international sign for online douche or something.

The reason they have a bunch of Xxxs in their profile is because they got banned from Xbox Live and all of their info was deleted. Turned into all X's. They can remove them, but most do not know they are there.

There really isn't an indicator of who cheeses and who doesn't, but I agree, I've seen a lot less cheese this year. I think one of the single biggest reasons why is the fact that throwing on the run leads to very wild throws unless you've got a top throwing QB. So all the people who are so used to taking a faster QB, sprinting out or back and throwing are getting disappointed when their throws are 10 yards wide.

Combined with the default speed threshold seeming to have a shorter range between fast and slow on default settings and the people that abused speed at QB and HB just can't get their old stuff to work. Then they try and play legit and get dominated because they don't know how to make reads or set up plays.

I've been very pleased with the online experience this year. So far anyway.

Yeah I haven't had a game against a single cheeser yet. Every game I have played has been 100% sim. Shoot I even played a guy earlier who picked Oregon. He had some crazy s/n that just screamed cheese and a pretty good record like 13-3. I used UTSA just for laughs. Guy played extremely sim and I was able to win in the last few plays of the game.

If we could tighten up the zone coverage just a little bit online, i'd probably spend more time playing online than playing dynasty this year.

Yah I have also had pretty good luck thus far ..When searching for a ranked match with my skill level and the DNF under 10 I have had better sim luck than in past years ..I still think these Ranked matches need to be at least 6 minutes quarters though

There has been some lag, but it's usually like that in the 1st couple of weeks
