Am thinking about starting an online dynasty with TeamBuilder teams. Any quirky bugs for dynasties that involve TBs?

We are in the pre-season of ours, I haven't noticed anything yet.

were there any problems with it last year?

There's an issue with the rivalry promises. If you promise to beat a rival, you'll always fail that promise regardless of whether or not you actually do. I don't know if that's in this game (I'm assuming it is), but it was an issue last year.
