Sliders to make outside running better?

Ive noticed that running outside is very difficult for both the user and the cpu as the defender always beats the blocker to the edge. What sliders are good to rectify this without making inside running too easy?

Perhaps play around with the HUM run block sliders?

Re: Sliders to make outside running better?

Speed threshold is the biggest problem. When the setting is lower then 50 fast DBs and fast LBs get to the line of scrimmage or the outside faster then RBs even those with good speed. Certainly before any pulling lineman, most fullbacks, or QB on the option. Also RBs seem toned down in 13 even on Heisman. My RB ability is on 80. Even on that the best RBs still get tackled by good defenders. Don't run away from everyone. My Run Blk is on 70. Yes more pancakes. But the lineman actually pull quicker and slower full backs actually make it to the outside to block. Holes are actually opened for the RB by the OL. Setting my Rush def to 60 and tackle to 55 offsets the 80 RB ABLTY. Good OL men open holes but the holes get filled by smart fast LBs and DBs. More battles at or slightly past line. Less battles with defenders 5 yards in the backfield. Tackles for a loss stats are excessive in this game. A good idea also is to ensure your guards are very fast. Even if you must change OL positions make sure your guards are the fastest on your line. A high rated guard may be a great pass blocker but louse on outside runs if he isn't fast.

Since clipping does not seem to be in the game this year, you may try aggressive blocking adjustment as well. Not sure it helps, only turned it on in my last game... nothing obvious (like clipping) but I did manage some longer runs on Heisman but it was late in game too. It may give us an additional tweak between the 50-55 pancakes etc.
