Editing Players in Online Dynasty?

For some reason I can edit the attributes of my players on my online dynasty. I have 3 other people in it with me. I've looked to see if there was an option to turn it off or something.

Could this be a bug/glitch?

If you could do that, the commish would have all 99's in half the leagues, or he would progress far better than anyone else in the dynasty.

Lets just take my friend for example... one year in a Madden dynasty a few years ago (we all play on the same xbox for Madden), we go back for the second day of playing the dynasty, and he has a completely different roster, and no cap penalties. "I made a couple of changes," he says. 53 trades is more like it. And then he denied clearing his cap penalties.

Moral is, if he knows he could change his players ratings as a commish, we would all get boned year in and year out... and what fun is that?

Hey, not sure if anyone else has figured it out yet but I had read a post on this website a few weeks back about how people were having trouble editing the rosters of the other users in online dynasty mode.

Obviously for anyone who has edited rosters in online dynasty mode knows that the commish can edit his teams roster at will, as well as the other cpu controlled teams by making edits and then advancing the week and saving it. The issue is that the commish can not edit the roster of the other users controlled teams, even if he advances the week and saves.

The answer to this solution is to simply have the user leave the dynasty and then edit their roster as if it were a cpu controlled team and advance the week as you normally would do so. The user can then sign back into the online dynasty and his team edits will be there. Best of all, the user can play their week and complete their recruiting (prior to the roster editing) and everything will remain saved for them until they sign back in.

I realize this thread may not be the correct spot to put this post but for some reason I was having trouble creating a new thread for it. If anyone would like to post this information elsewhere, feel free to do so. Hope this helps anyone who was having trouble with that issue.

we just notices this recently all comish's can edit play ratings, im in a dynasty where im pretty sure one of our dynasty runners does this. He's got db's with 98/99 play rec press and release. And im pretty sure we all recruit the same players

For anyone in an online dynasty I would suggest downloading the leagues entire roster export file from the website in the preseason. At that point you can redownload it at anytime and see what changes have been made to the rosters. This is about the only way you have %100 proof your commish is cooking the books.
