Created players in coach mode????

Does anyone know if you can create players and place them on rosters and then be able to use those rosters in the CC Coach mode??? Im debating whether or not to use the CC mode or just playing the Jets schedule in exhibiton mode due to the lack of freedom in CC

No, you must use an "official" roster, whether that's the out-of-the-box roster or an updated roster is up to you. But you cannot take edited rosters into CCM with you.

Creating a player in CCM is for "Superstar Mode" style only. Once you switch over to being a coach, your created player is retired and removed from the game.

It's crazy to me that we would have to choose between playing coach mode or using a created player. I love to create myself for a team, and I would love to have Tom Landry as my coach. But I can't do both. Who in the world thought it would be a good idea to limit the game in such a way? It makes no sense.

EA hasn't figured out how to incorporate the new feature with standard customization... I bet it's next year tho.

....wow....can't even use a created player for CCM unless it's superstar mode...I really don't think I will be making this game a purchase this year, it's way to limited for my taste. This stuff and the other things left out will probably be in next year but it's kind of sad none of it made it in this year.

In that case, I think they should've left it out until they figured all this stuff out.

Did they actually sit around a table somewhere and say " I wonder how the consumers will react if we don't include this important feature that we've had for years? Or this one? Or even this one?"

I'm just trying to get my head around EA not realizing what a firestorm these feature deletions would cause. How could they not foresee what would happen?

CCM to me seems like a complete rip off to the offline gamer. We have no freedom to do anything with our teams, players, coaches. Complete and I mean complete game killer for me. I have no interest in ever playing an online franchise. I want the freedom to control the teams and run the NFL how I want which is as real as possible. I could care less about XP or any of that stuff.
