best way to get through a season

So I'm trying to get through a season and have fun. What do you guys think is the best way to get through a season. Play one sim one?

A lot of guys do a Play 1, Sim 5. This way you can get to play with every rotation member, and get through multiple seasons without growing tired of the grind of playing a 162 game schedule.

I like playing 1 game from every series. You end up playing roughly 1/3 of the teams games so you don't feel too grinded and you don't influence the stats too badly in favour of your game play

I play 1 a series. Sometimes 2 if it's a divisional series. I play everything when tied but pitch only if I lead and hit only when I trail.

I play all my games, usually in 20-30 games intervals at a time before I break for another game. Takes me about a year to year and a half to play a season

I always play the first game of every series until I get tired of whatever franchise I'm playing. The only exception is when I get to the playoffs I play every game.

I only hit. I sim ahead when my team is pitching. I'll jump in an pitch if I get the "itch to pitch" but normally I only hit. However if I've had a bad season, I sim ahead once my team is out of contention.

Best bet is to buy a Vita so you can play anywhere when you have some free time.

I have never gotten past June until this year I am already in mid September.
