Madden 11-12-13

I never got Madden 12, but I did get Madden 11(right around time Madden 12 came out since price for Madden 11 was less than half of Madden 12s price).

What are the differences(good and bad) from Madden 11 and 12?

And with 13 coming out in about 2 months, what are the big differences from 12 and 13(or if it'll make some features seem better, what are big differences from 11 to 13)

Madden 11 has better presentation elements in it's Franchise mode.

Madden NFL 12 has Custom Playbooks and Edit Player features.

Madden NFL 11 has somewhat better commentary, and the jumping LB's/Fast moving players aren't as bad. Madden NFL 12 has players standing when a QB is taking off, and the field feels smaller, and lob passes always sail high in the air.

Madden NFL 11 has awful tackling/bad defense in general.



Madden NFL 13 has Pass Trajectories and Receivers and Defenders have to actually look at the ball to attempt and catch/swat the ball. Madden NFL 13 has RTP.

Madden NFL 13 combined Superstar and Franchise mode. Connected Careers. Be a player or a coach. You get better/control your players better through XP points, which you earn if you meet a goal. (ex. 200 yards rushing) Then you make the hall of fame if your legacy score is good enough. Players come out of retirement, twitter feed, injuries last, Trey Wingo recaps the draft.

Madden NFL 12 has multiplayer offline franchise, Madden NFL 13 doesn't. No custom playbooks, you can't edit players in CC, you can't have NCAA import or you can't play other games on the schedule.

Madden 13 also has new commentary and commentators with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms. It's supposed to be much improved over Madden 12's commentary, which was horrible.

Madden 13 has new improved crowd audio, used 24 mics to record crowd instead of just 4.

Madden 13 has 12 authentic qb cadences, uses nfl films for player chatter, hits, and other in game sounds.
