Hey everyone, I have MLB 12: The Show, and I love it. Everything's been going excellent with almost no glitches... until now. Every time I start up a franchise and go to load rosters, it freezes at the "Data Utility" screen and I have to unplug my PS3 from the wall and plug it back in. It does this every single time, I have deleted the Game Data Utility and re-installed it and it still does it. Please help me out guys, I don't think I can do a franchise without OSFM full minors rosters

Are you trying to load a season or a franchise mode game?

I'm trying to start up a new one. When I go into the load rosters screen to choose it at the beginning of the franchise, it'll load but then freeze at the Data Utility screen.

Perhaps it would make it easier to diagnose the issue if you specify exactly which roster you are trying to load, whether you have applied the game patch(es), etc...

Okay, I have the OSFM Opening Day Rosters, and I just made a franchise on Sunday, but I wanted to start a new one and when I went to load the OSFM Roster when you start a franchise and it prompts you to either use the current rosters, default rosters or load a roster. I can open up the load roster screen, and after I press X on the OSFM Rosters, it loads then just freezes at the "Data Utility" screen with all the logos in the back scrolling.

Perhaps you should download another roster from the vault, and see if the problem is with the specific roster file. If none of the roster files work, it maybe your disk that's having issues, etc...

Try loading the rosters from the main screen, then choose 'current' when starting franchise. IDK if it'll work, but worth a shot.
