NBA Live 13 NEEDS to be slower

NBA Live 13 is planning on making a full comeback..but there is one thing that could hinder that. Live/Elite games look to fast and dribbling animations e.g through the leg crossover animations look corny and arcady. Also there is no variation in defensive stances in NBA Live and on defense everybody has the same hunched over stance which is total unrealistic. If slightly slower, more realistic animations were added this would boost realism

Re: NBA Live 13 NEEDS to be slower

Eh the speed of live 10 is fine and Im sure will be on par with that. SOme of us dont like the slow, constricted play of the other game....We dont want a copycat! We want LIVE! The controls, the ability to perform moves with the right stick, the atmosphere, online, grahpics, espn and the ability to play very sim or casual.

Lve 10 was fine. Elite was a cancelled game so why bring it up and we haven't even seen Live 13 so why complain?

because people who review the demo said that there was no slider for speed, nor did they intend to put one in the game, and also they said it plays fast/speed was fast just like elite, thats why he made this topic, because he has heard what reviewers said

Re: NBA Live 13 NEEDS to be slower

nba live has always had that superspeedy dribbling/nba street speed for some reason when it moved to next gen. For them wanting to make a sim game they have to make the animations move at a more realistic speed.

There's no finished demo for Live 13. Noone has reviewed it. What people have seen, not played as there hasn't been a hands-on session yet, is a work in progress 4 months from release. There's nothing saying there won't be any sliders for speed since the version they've is probably just an inside version of the game where the glossy front end we get in a finished game hasn't been implemented.

We're 4 months away from release, what we get to see now is nowhere near a finished version so have faith.
