Tony Parker style floaters?

Is there any way to consistently do the Tony Parker one-handed floater? I know it is in the game, I've done it on numerous occasions, but I can't seem to figure out how I've done it. I've been in practice mode for hours with Parker, Rondo, and Rose, and I haven't been able to do it even once. The only thing I can occasionally do is that two-handed floater, where they cross their legs in mid-air and hold the pose before shooting it.

Spurs are my favorite team, and that' one-handed floater is such an integral part of Parker's game that without it, it isn't all that fun to play with San Antonio.

LT (L2 on PS3) and back (camera relative) with the shot stick.

You gotta be running towards the basket from mid / paint area.

That's what I try to do, but it almost always just takes a pull up jumper, or a step-back jumper.

Are you running towards the basket when you do it? Don't do it from too far away and release turbo also.

I think I'm starting to understand. It basically doesn't work if you attempt it in the top half of the free throw circle, only in the paint. I thought you were supposed to do it between the free throw circle and the three point line. I'm doing it more often, although it always seems to be B- shot quality and doesn't go in as much as I'd like.

It's a pretty effective move from my experience. You might not be able to do it too far away from the basket though and btw try releasing the left stick when you do it. You should be able to do it everytime.

Here you go OP. Very quick video -- You can start it from a few feet further back on the wings -- I was just trying to push it out so you can see where to start at least.
