Rumor Mill Question

During franchise play when ever I go and check out the rumor mill I always see a bunch of high profile players there...now my question is this: when it says "interested", what does it mean? does it mean that the player would like to play for one of the teams listed or is it that the teams listed want to acquired the player??

It means the teams listed may be interested in that player. But take it at what it is: a Rumor. From what I've observed, it is based on the teams' trading block and its "Looking For" positions.

I've found that it's easier to trade the player to the interested teams. So it actually does do something.
