Eddie Howe: The Quest To Become A Champion

Attempted back in 2012, I'm going to give this another go.
37 year old Eddie Howe is one of the brightest managerial lights in all of English football, a former defender who spent much of his career at Bournemouth, Howe had his career cut short by a debilitating knee injury which ended his playing career in the Summer of 2007.
By December 2008, Eddie had taken over as caretaker at Bournemouth, becoming the permanent Manager on January 19th, 2009. Over the next several months Howe quickly built up his blossoming reputation by overcoming a 17 point deficit to steer the club out of the relegation zone.
The next season proved even more successful as Howe somehow managed to earn promotion for Bournemouth despite a season long transfer embargo. Howe continued to work his magic at Bournemouth, building up a record of 51 wins, 18 draws, and 33 losses before finally leaving the club for Championship side Burnley in January of 2011.
Despite the challenges of taking over a club mid season, Howe was pretty successful in his first few months at Burnley, putting together two three game winning streaks on his way to a record of 9-6-7 while steering the club into a respectable 8th place finish, just seven points shy of a play-off position.
Of course, good results bring high expectations, and going into 2011-12, the Burnley board felt that Howe had the club to fight for promotion, instead however the club finished a disappointing 13th in the table, and by October of 2012 Howe had resigned at Burnley for the chance to return to Bournemouth.
Back at the club he considered home, Eddie took the helm of the last place Cherries and somehow guided them from the bottom of League One all the way to a 2nd place finish and automatic promotion by season's end, a stunning feat considering that Bournemouth had not been in the second tier since 1990!
A strong 10th place finish in the 2013-14 Championship campaign was thought by many to be a stunning achievement for the Cherries, it proved a mere stepping stone.
His reputation growing by the day, Howe did the unthinkable in 2014-15, leading Bournemouth to the Sky Bet Championship title with a record of 26 wins, 12 draws and just 8 defeats. Yes ladies and gentlemen, Eddie Howe is taking little ol' Bournemouth to the Barclays Premier League.....

tough loss....if it makes you feel any better I was bounced early in the Carling Cup as well (but by a 0-3 margin).
