Allen Iverson: Wasted Talent

The reason A.I. will never come back to the NBA is because he plays For Allen Iverson and THAT'S IT! NOT for what ever team that he is on i mean this guy is so arrogant that he didn't want to come off of the bench, i think he was a great player and he RUINED it himself. OK say you are the GM of The Cav's and you just Drafted Kyrie Irving and you really need a solid backup would you sign A.I. of course you would from a fan stand point BUT from a business Stand point? if your smart you won't even think about it! i bet you he still thinks he is good like he was back in the days. his arrogance is/was Blinding him, and yes i was a A.I. fan and i still am but you know what i really think? if he could Humble himself and try the NBA D-League he will show The NBA he is a different person and maybe be able to help a Team as a Backup but if he would have been able to look past everything else and quit being so arrogant he would be on a team with a secure position RIGHT NOW. i hate to see so much talent gone to waste and to know that its to late for him to try at being a Significant Starter at least, but that doesn't take away from the fact he was a GREAT point Guard

Gone to waste? He dominated the league for 13 some odd years. He won't be back in the league because of the physical toll taken on his 170lb frame. I enjoyed every second watching AI play. I honestly thought he would never stop playing because he was so full of energy. Too bad he never had a legit sidekick to run with.

Also, I agree that he could have been humble, but after being the man for so long, it's hard to accept that role. I think we can all agree that AI and Ray Allen do t have the same personality.
