DrJ32 Presents "The Motherload III: Old School"-The Greatest 400 Players Of All Time.

Announcing The Motherload III: OLD SCHOOL NBA 2k12

This is the most extensive all time great basketball roster I have ever created for XBOX360. I've incorporated many ratings theories from other creators and you'll find very accurate results when simming.

With the help of the community, over 400 of the best players of all time have been created and/or collected from 2kshare, including rare, hard to find retro players from the 60's-90's. Like the ABA? They are here. EVERYONE is included, with the exceptions of Harry Gallatin, Arnie Risen, and Dick McGuire, (due to them being 1940's-50's guys) and all 2012 rookies (you can add the rookies in through 2kshare if you like).

WHY?

Since everyone is doing current rosters, I wanted to do something different, so I concentrated on classic old school 50's-90's players with only a couple of current players on these hybrid squads.

Why not complete historic teams?

Because of the 30 team limit. This allows any old-schooler to get all your favorite players in, and to make sure that each team is competitively balanced, so every team has a shot at the title.

You can feel free to mix and match players to suit your taste. CREATE YOUR OWN SQUADS! Current players and more classic players can be added to the teams below. All are available on other teams or the FA list if you'd like to add them in.

I have done massive edits to this file to eliminate over- dribbling and tweak tendencies. Stats will be VERY accurate. Lots of great hidden unis added, short shorts, Classic coaches and arenas here too.

Please note though that I did not edit all tendencies of free agents or players not on the teams below. Some tendencies were done to all but not many. HOWEVER, if you have reditor, you can easily edit the other players to fit into this roster.

To get warmed up for this roster, here's a treat. The 1976 ABA all-star game AND Dunk Contest from McNichols Arena (arena featured in the game): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nLiELvNQG8

Re: DrJ32 Presents "The Motherload III: Old School"-The Greatest 400 Players Of All T

If anyone is good with shoes, and wants to help out on this roster, please PM me, because shoes
(outside of general color and appearance) and playbooks are the only things not done.
Thanks,
The Doctor

correct, although a bunch of teams have 7-8 real players from specific years like the '79 Sonics, '85 Sixers, '01 Nets, etc.

The only guys missing are bottom of the roster guys, or guys used on other teams that you can trade over if you like.

Other than the bottom scrub guys, you can mix and match to get close to specific seasons, easily.

john johnson is hidden on the disk? with teams that are era specific, do they have the correct uni to coincide with the team? What i mean by this is do you hex edit? If you do, would the nuggets for example have the 80s retro uni as the default with short shorts?

I created John Johnson.
Yes, they have the correct uni to coincide with the team.
Yes, I hex edit.
Would the nuggets for example have the 80s retro uni as the default with short shorts? I did not set unis to default. You can choose them from the menu as usual.
I would have to check on the Nuggets in particular but they do have short shorts and all teams have sweet retros.
Thanks
