On their FB they said this was a joke.

We would of heard about this by now if it was real.

I'm pretty sure that got posted by a mod here on April 1st as well. So yes, it was a joke. You can't ink a deal when there's already on in place unless the NFL would've wanted sued.

Yeah, lol, I think dudes would have started recruiting for online leagues as well as buying NFL 2k5/All Pro 2k8 to "brush up"
