Nascar The Game 2011 worth getting now?

I just rented near the end of my gamefly subscription but didn't get to check it out that much. The game seemed okay except on crashes that clearly should have brought out a caution.

Still seeing it for $37-40 at most retailers. I have my Logitech G25 wheel and playseat just collecting dust. Sometimes I bring it out for GT5, but that loses it's appeal quickly with their racing style of catch and pass.

So is the game worth getting if it drops below $30?

I mainly want to race a few seasons in career mode until 2012 comes out. Just wondering if the glitches and bugs will cause more frustration then enjoyment with trying to have some sim races and feel of the chase.

October is far away right now and even when it comes out, how long before that game gets patched. I know they are delaying it, but I doubt they can put the game out again without some big errors(keeping fingers crossed for a decent release though, anyone but EA is better then nothing).

Well, It's the only up to date Nascar came for a console, if you Like Nascar, like i do YES it's worth Buying, if you have a PC and that racing wheel i would say Hands down, Buy Nascar Racing 2003...........can't go wrong with each one, Me it was worth the $59.99 price it Cost at Release, to get a up to date Nascar game, I don't ask no one what they think bout games, cost ill buy a game that get a 2 out of 10...if it's the type game i like, All games are worth buying to someone or they would not make them, it just depends on if you like that type game, All ways go with what you LIKE, Not what anyone other likes, Good Luck, And buy the GAME and enjoy...Whatever game you end up buying, & enjoy....

Don't be fooled there is no career mode. It is a season mode. That's all it is, 1 season. For me I love NASCAR and NASCAR games, but this game sucks. I still play it some, but not like I would if it wasn't full of bugs and glitches. I rarely complain about a game, I am one of those guys that defends Madden games, but this game is terrible. If you have not bought it yet, then just wait for the new one to come out. Save your money, buy something else, but I would not waste money on this game. I won't buy the new one until I do a lot of reading about before I get it, because if it's anything like this one I won't waste my money again.
