With the mess going on now concerning the patch I obviously do not want to download that. What I want to know is whether or not I can download the new sony rosters from today if I do not download the patch?? Any help is appreciated, cheers

Don't bother with the Sony roster at all, get yourself the OSFM Opening Day roster from the Vault

I'd just wait until the patch issue has been resolved before I'd connect to the PSN and download anything though, but you should be fine if your Franchise/RTTS is outside of the first month of 2012.

Or if you really want the rosters but not the patch you can download the patch get your roster then just delete the patch. But if you haven't started your franchise or RTTS or are out of the first month as stated above you will be fine.

If you had already started your franchise or Rtts before the patch and are still in april, its causing alot of peoples games to freeze.
