Giancarlo (Mike) Stanton Oddity?

Hello Roster experts,

I noticed today that Stanton has some curious attributes that I haven't seen before.

He has a Plate Vision rating of 5 and a Plate Discipline rating of 99.

Does this seem odd to anyone else? This is in the default and live rosters and was not touched in the OSFM rosters.

No as those ratings affect each attribute differently, what issue do you see? One affects walks and check swings the other affects strikes and swinging. Not saying its completely accurate but whats the issue?

The values just seem very extreme to me. 99 and 5???

Vision correlates to strikeouts. He does strike out a lot
Discipline correlates to walks. He does walk a lot.

Makes sense to me.

I agree with you except that based on his ratings it would go something like:
He strikes out the most
He walks the most

Neither one of which is close to being true. And that's what I find surprising.

No it doesn't. A 99 rating doesn't mean that at all. There are a few guys with 99 discipline ratings. There are a few guys with 99 k/9 ratings.

I just punched in Stanton's 2011 splits into Bahnzo's roster tools and I got 10 vision and 92 discipline; pretty close if you ask me, considering SCEA and Bahnzo probably have different formulas.
