Recruiting tips

Any tips for recruiting in college hoops 2k8? I have created a ton of legacies as top schools and only once have I gotten the #1 recruit. Anything I can do?

I'm embarrassed to admit I've never landed the #1 recruit or the #1 class. I think my problem is I don't start recruiting them early enough. I usually just try to find 4 star players that fit my style, even when I'm at a power school.

I have a hard time not signing top recruits, I recruit in-state guys hard from the moment they appear. I play/coach a lot of ABL so its easy to find some studs in other states early.

That's another reason I don't land top kids, I never play any ABL games lol I sim it every time.

Lol it depends on how my team is playing, I absolutely hate losing. I personally love to think I have that Jordan-esque will to win. So if i'm coaching a game and I notice that my only good scorer is a senior next year, i'm going to the abl to find a replacement lol.

i am (UIC) in an absolute BATTLE recruiting a 2* power forward right now with Indiana State. he is from Naperville, IL. B- midrange, B 3 point, standing at 6'8. he will fit into my offense soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo well. i need to get this guy lol

i've got a pretty good 4 of 5 man class coming in. i should be getting 2 point guards 4* from puerto rico and 2* from georgia (B midrange, and B passing, standing at 6'5) 1 maybe 2 PFs(3* and 2*) and a 3* african small forward i just want for depth.

this also leaves one scholly available that i hope i can get a good transfer
